When a person we know or love dies, it can be an enormous shock even if it has been expected. There are many things that need to be done and you can access a useful government site containing further information by clicking here.
Funeral arrangements can only be made once the death has been registered. Once this has been done speak to the Parish Priest to discuss:
- The date and time
- The type of service – whether a Requiem Mass in church, a service at the cemetery or crematorium
- Whether the body is to be received into church the evening before the Requiem
- Readings, prayers, music, orders of service, etc.
