Pope’s August Prayer Intention – World Youth Day:
World Youth Day (WYD) is the gathering of young people from all over the world with Pope Francis, taking place in Lisbon at the start of August. In his latest The Pope Video, Pope Francis asks the Church to pray for this event, emphasising his invitation to young people to quickly take the path of bearing joyful witness to the Gospel. If you won’t be in Lisbon, join Westminster Youth Ministry on 2nd September for a taste of Lisbon at their Summer Picnic. This event is aimed at any young person (12-35) in the Diocese who wasn’t able to make it to World Youth Day. It will explore the theme for World Youth Day, ‘Mary arose and went with haste’, with workshops activities, testimonies and Mass.
