Secondary Schools Open Days/Evenings
St Aloysius’ College
Our Open Events will be virtual this year. We appreciate that much of the open event experience is meeting our dedicated staff and thriving students, and although we cannot facilitate face to face encounters this year we endeavour to ensure our virtual event is an interactive and informative experience. The event will include an interactive virtual tour, videos of teachers and students, a live new Headteacher presentation and a Q&A section.
We ask that interested families register by completing this short form. Those who have registered will receive an email on Monday 28th September with allocated timeslots and access information. The leaflet/poster for our Open Events includes a QR code which links directly to our registration form when scanned with a smart phone.

Bishop Douglass Catholic School
Due to popular demand, we have added an additional date for a live and Virtual Open House experience of our school on Wednesday 14th of October at 7pm. This will give parents and Year 6 pupils an exciting opportunity to ask us questions live, to explore the areas of the school they would like to find out more about and why Bishop Douglass is such a special place to bring their child. They will meet the key people who shape our school, our wonderful students and expert staff. Here is the link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81437987674
We know that the best way for parents and Year 6 pupils to get a real feel for what our school is about is by visiting us. We are always very proud and love to show visitors around. We have therefore made opportunities to visit the school from the 12th October to the 23rd October and these school time tours will take place from 9.10am to 10.10am. We can also offer tours outside of school time, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. To arrange a tour, parents can contact the school via email firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 020 8444 5211.
We are always mindful of social distancing and safety so we ask that only one adult and one child from the family join the visit for social distancing reasons. Visitors will be asked to wear a facemask. Numbers will be limited to 6 for each tour. We look forward to meeting some of your parents and Year 6 children soon and sharing what is our warm and welcoming Bishop Douglass school community with them.
