Parish Building Project – Fundraising Update
As you can see from our barometer in the porch we have a fundraising target of £250,000 to be raised in 5 year Parishioner pledges. Fr Sean has begun meeting Parishioners, on an individual basis, to discuss whether they are willing to make a 5 year pledge, a one-off donation or an alternative financial commitment; in addition to their normal, regular offertory donations. Please contact Fr Sean if you would like a pledge form or wish to discuss making a donation.
The total donations, to date, to our Building Fund are: during 2018: £34,011 and between January-March 2019: £6,486. Since March, there have been further donations, which will be totalled and reported in the newsletter shortly. This represents money received and more has been pledged.
We thank all those who sponsored our Parishioners who undertook The Great Haringey Deanery Bank Holiday Walk, on Monday 27th May, walking 12 miles between six Churches in our Deanery. Please continue to keep our Building Fund in mind if you are undertaking any fundraising activities.
This weekend, we will take up the Peter’s Pence Collection, which provides Pope Francis with the funds he needs to carry out his charitable works around the world. The proceeds benefit our brothers and sisters on the margins of society, including victims of war, oppression, and natural disasters. Take this opportunity to join with Pope Francis and be a witness of charity to our suffering brothers and sisters. Please be generous. For more information, visit www.usccb.org/peters-pence.

Justice and Peace
The next Social Justice and Peace Forum will take place on Saturday, 6th July at St Aloysius Church Hall from 10:30am – 1:30pm.
