Welcome

We welcome and congratulate Michael Joseph McDonagh and Bridget Claudia McDonagh who were confirmed and made her First Holy Communion at the Easter Vigil. Please keep them in your prayers.

A Big Thank You

To everyone who made our parish celebration of Holy week and Easter special. There are the people we see – Fr. Sean leading our liturgies, the Readers, Altar Servers, Eucharistic Ministers, Singers, Musicians, the people who take up the collection, bring up the offertory gifts and of course everyone who comes to celebrate with us so prayerfully. Then there are the people supporting them – the people who organise our ministers, those who arrange flowers, prepare, clean and decorate the church, wash linen, count and bank the collections, etc. We must give a special mention to our First Holy Communion candidates and their catechists who led the Family Stations of the Cross on Good Friday. St Peter’s is blessed with many people who give their time and service generously not only at Easter but throughout the year. We send our thanks and prayers for God’s Blessing to all of you.

It was good to see the number of families who brought beautiful baskets of Easter Food to be blessed on Holy Saturday as well as the people who got up to see the sun rise at Ally Pally and celebrate the risen Christ on Easter morning – we may have 2 new Parish Traditions in the making!

Fr Sean adds his thanks for your cards, generous Easter Offerings as well as your donations during Lent and on Good Friday for the collection for the Holy Places.

Building Works Fund Raiser

Our thanks to all those who supported the fund-raiser for our Parish works at The Hope and Anchor before Easter raising £420.
