Today we begin the Season of Advent – our preparation for Christmas. It is also the beginning of a new church year when on Sundays we will be listening principally to the gospel of St Luke; this is referred to liturgically as ‘Year C’. The service of readings and music – see notice below – is a wonderful way to begin the season of Advent. Other events will be published in the Newsletter. Spending time before the Blessed Sacrament is an ideal way to prepare for Christmas. We have our Holy Hour on Friday evenings, 7:30-8:30pm and Exposition from 9:30-10am on Saturday mornings.
