Peace Sunday – 14th January

The theme for Peace Sunday 2018 is Migrants and Refugees – seekers of peace. Every year Pax Christi promotes the Holy Father’s World Peace Day Message on the 2nd Sunday in Ordinary Time. The theme reflects the relationship between migrants, refugees and peacemaking. The work of Pax Christi is based on the Gospel and inspired by faith and has a vision of a world where people can live in peace without fear of violence in all its forms. If you would like to contribute to the work of Pax Christi, donation envelopes are available on the Newsletter stand.

They have acknowledged that this policy discriminates against Catholics and have promised to abandon it; now we need you to tell them not to U-turn on their promise to Catholics. Visit http://catholicnews.org.uk/ or search for ‘Catholic Education’ in your search engine to write to the Government and urge them to drop the policy which bans new Catholic schools.
