World Mission Sunday

You can help bring peace to South Sudan
The conflict continues; more and more people are hungry, homeless and traumatised. Retribution is rife. This young country is on the brink of collapse, but you can help bring peace to the people of South Sudan.

In 1999, Bishop Paride started a Peace Village to try and halt the human suffering he saw. The Peace Village is now home to 24 different tribes who live, work and pray together. More than 3,000 people come to access the services this remarkable project has brought to the area, and people who called each other enemies are now working together. Bishop Paride knows that education is at the heart of creating a more just society. He needs your help to spread a spirit of peace across the region.

World Mission Sunday on 22 October, is your chance to support our missionaries and the Church in proclaiming the Gospel of peace to those who suffer around the world. Please give what you can, and if possible, please use the Gift Aid envelopes if you are a taxpayer. Thank you. Learn more about World Mission Sunday here. You can donate online here.
