Housing a Syrian refugee family

Haringey parishes are exploring the possibility of housing a Syrian refugee family with the support of the government’s Community Sponsorship scheme. One essential requirement is to find a house or flat for a family. If you might be able to help with this, please contact Fr Sean or Father David Ardagh-Walter on 020 8800 8374. We shall need a number of other helpers, but accommodation is key to this project.

During the Holidays:

  • There will be no Saturday morning Mass on 29th July and during August
  • There will be no Exposition/Benediction on Friday, 28th & Saturday, 29th July and during August.
  • After this Saturday, 22nd July and until Saturday 26th August, if you wish to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession),  please speak to the priest celebrating Mass.
  • After this Tuesday, 25th July, the next General Surgery is on Tuesday, 22nd August.
  • There will be only two issues of the Parish Newsletter on Sundays 30th July and 27th August.
  • We will still need Altar Servers at Sunday Masses – so please come to the sacristy whenever you are present. It would be helpful if parents took home an alb to be washed and returned during the holidays.
  • The July/August rotas for Linen, Planned Giving and Money Counters, Soup Run, Readers/Readings & Eucharistic Ministers, are available at the back of the church on the newsletter stand. Please take a copy. If for any reason you are unable to cover your duty please make alternative arrangements. Thank you.
  • If you are able to help the Soup Run during the July/August holiday period to make sandwiches, drive and/or distribute to the homeless in Central London, please contact Kit Greveson on 020 8340 0557 / 07507 138 582 or email Kit at We meet every Saturday at 4pm to make sandwiches for approx. 2 hours and at 6pm to drive/distribute, again for approx. 2 hours. Please just turn up to make sandwiches if you are free. Many thanks.

The office will be closed on Thursday 27th, Friday 28th & Monday 31st July.
