Priest Training Fund

Thank you for your generosity to the Priest Training Fund collection last weekend. Our parish raised £747.53. It’s not too late to make a donation if you wish. Envelopes are available in the back of the church, or by contacting the parish office. Please continue to pray for vocations to the priesthood. For more information, or to make a donation, visit

Bishops encourage Catholics to vote

The Bishops of England and Wales have issued a letter on the forthcoming general election. The letter is an encouragement to all Catholics to play an active part in the election. While voting for any particular political party is a matter of conscience, the bishops encourage people to use their vote at this pivotal time for our nations, as we prepare to leave the European Union. The letter lays out broad principles to guide our thinking in the run-up to the election, taken from Pope Francis’ Evangelii Gaudium. Copies of the letter are available at the Newsletter stand or you can read or download the letter here.

The Great Haringey Deanery Bank Holiday Walk

The walk was a great occasion for many parishioners who represented all six parishes. It had a pilgrimage feeling to it and the welcome extended by each parish was tremendous. Those who sponsored our parish project will be pleased to know that our walkers completed the course, your promised contributions may be paid outside the church after all Masses this weekend and those who still wish to contribute may do so. We are really amazed at your generosity and thank you all so much.

Tombola prizes and volunteers wanted!

SEEDs will be running a tombola stall at the Crouch End Festival, on the Town Hall Green, on Saturday, 10th June, 10am – 5pm. Everyone welcome. Please help!

Pope asks for feedback from young Catholics – ahead of 2018 Synod of Bishops, Pope Francis has written to the Church asking young people, aged 16 – 29, to share their hopes, struggles and criticisms, ahead of the next Synod on the theme of youth and vocation. For the first time, young people will be able to respond directly using an online survey, further revealing the Pope’s aim to make us a listening Church. We also should be a listening parish and would like invite our own young Catholics – practising or not – to share their hopes, struggles and criticisms with us as well. This should be led by young people and so, if this interests you and you have ideas on how we could best go about it and who we should contact, please speak to Fr Sean or email Thank you.
